The initial idea for the Football Flask was conceived at a tailgate party at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. It was a simple idea that combined two staples of any great college tailgate: Fireball whiskey and tossing the old pigskin.

Founder Travis Price decided to hollow out the inside of a Nerf football, put a water bottle inside, and filled the bottle with whiskey. This do-it-yourself prototype looked shoddy, but the idea was overwhelmingly well received. The Football Flask was thrown around the tailgate nonstop, with party-goers passing the ball, taking swigs, then passing it back to their friends.

Now, after numerous design changes and plenty of user testing, the Football Flask is ready for tailgates across the country.
